If you want a free text editor that does everything most paid apps do and more then look no further than PSPad that has the simplicity and ease of use to satisfy the most novice user with enough features to satisfy the most experienced users. No other freeware product can even come close to the level of features PSPad has. There are some that are easier to use but to me it's the combination that sets PSPad far above the rest. The only true downsides to PSPad are the fact some releases it actually makes the Russian language the default rather than the English version. And when that happens it can take time to find the settings to switch it to English. However for the power of such a text editor and for the cost, it's worth some of these small hassles.
